A way of resolving disputes during divorce proceedings or even after separation. The parties/couples are assisted to find their OWN SOLUTIONS to their disputes.

 

It allows couples who are splitting up (or other aggrieved family members) to sit down together with a skilled and impartial person, to mutually decide on aspects regarding the future of the family or relationship.

* Predict the probable court outcome
* Parties to form their agreement cognizant of a probable court outcome

The Parties will reach agreement that is best for all parties involved

MEDIATION SESSIONS ARE STRUCTURED ON THE BASIS OF
* Contact sessions of one to two hours
* Target of between four and six contact sessions – timeline suggested to the parties
* Frequency of sessions to be agreed
* Signing of an Agreement to Mediate
* Both clients need not be present in the same room simultaneously
* Notice given to the other party should further persons be required to attend mediation sessions
* Mediators may work in pairs when required by circumstances
* Parties at all times at liberty to consult own legal representatives
